(A) Streets running east and west shall be numbered from Electric Avenue. Streets running north and south shall be numbered from the south corporation line. The even numbers shall be on the east side of the streets running north and south and on the north side of the streets running east and west.
(B) Each 30 feet, as nearly as possible, shall constitute a number. Numbers shall run from one to 100 in the first block from Electric Avenue and the south corporation line; 101 to 200 in the second block; 201 to 300 in the third block; and continue in like manner to the east, west, and north corporation lines.
(C) The plat of the city prepared by the City Engineer showing in detail the house numbers for each lot is adopted for that purpose. It shall be the duty of the City Clerk to notify the owners of houses now erected of the proper numbers for their houses. Upon issuing building permits for houses to be erected in the future, the City Clerk shall designate in the permits the proper numbers for the houses to be erected.
