§ 34.14 POLICE CODE ADOPTED.
   The Village Police Department is established to protect the lives and property of the citizens of the village. One of the primary responsibilities of the police officers is to patrol the village streets effectively and shall only leave the environs of the village when called upon by the County Sheriff’s office to do so.
