§ 34.13 POLICE DEPARTMENT POLICY AND PROCEDURE MANUAL.
   (A)   Police officers employed by the village will be provided a Departmental Policy and Procedure Manual, outlining procedures necessary to increase officer safety, standardize police operations and provide direction for the officer performing their assigned duties. Police officers will be responsible for familiarizing themselves with the Departmental Policy and Procedure Manual and must sign a receipt, in the form in Appendix A of this chapter, acknowledging that the police officer received said manual.
   (B)   As needed, changes to the Policy and Procedure Manual may be made with the approval of the Police Trustee in concert with the Police Committee and approved by the Village Board of Trustees.
   (C)   In addition, police officers will be provided with a Village Employment Manual. Said officers shall sign a receipt certifying they have received this manual and are required to become familiar with its content.
