(A) Any person who is an itinerant merchant, peddler or solicitor shall obtain a license before engaging in this activity within the village.
(B) (1) The fee for the license required by this chapter shall be as set, from time to time, by the Board of Trustees.
(2) The Board hereby establishes a fee of $50 to cover the administrative and policing costs associated with the issuance of a permit. Local not-for-profit groups (for example, scout troops) are not required to pay a fee.
(C) No license issued under this chapter shall be transferable.
(D) All licenses issued under this chapter shall expire 90 days after the date of issuance thereof.
