§ 31.02 VILLAGE ATTORNEY.
   It shall be the duty of the Village Attorney to draft or supervise the phraseology of contracts, leases, ordinances or other documents to which the village is an interested party, to represent the village in suits which the village may be interested and to act as legal advisor to the village, whenever requested to do so.
