§ 94.002 USE OF PUBLIC STREETS FOR BLOCK PARTIES AND OTHER GATHERINGS.
   (A)   One or more persons may apply for and receive permission from the Village Police Department to conduct a block party or similar event upon a village street or other public right-of-way.
   (B)   The person or persons receiving such permission shall have authority to block off no more than one block of any village street for no more than 24 consecutive hours.
   (C)   Barricades from the village may be used for such purpose.
   (D)   Additionally, the lawful consumption of alcoholic beverages by adults shall be permitted during such block party or event, notwithstanding that such consumption may take place upon a village street or other public right-of-way.
