(A) The village, from time to time, rents the Village Hall for use by residents and non-residents for receptions, parties and similar events. The village also allows interested groups to reserve the pavilions in the village park. The village has not amended the rates for either the Village Hall or the park shelters in some time.
(B) Effective January 1, 2020, the rates for rental at the Village Hall shall be as follows.
(1) For a one day rental, except on major holidays (see division (D) below):

(2) All rentals will pay a $100 security deposit, and will be responsible for returning the Village Hall in the same condition as when it was rented to them.
(3) For an annual rental, allowing use of the Village Hall one day a week for a year, the rental for the year 2020 will be $2,500. Effective January 1, 2021, without further action by the Board, the annual rental will be $5,000. Annual renters shall also pay a $100 deposit, and will be advised of any charges against that deposit for cleaning, damages and the like. When the $100 is depleted, the tenant must deposit another $100.
(4) Not for profit entities will be charged the one day resident rate ($100). Commercial entities shall be charged the one day non-resident rate ($250).
(C) For the Martin pavilion in the Village Park, the rate is as follows.
(1) For a one day reservation, except on major holidays (see division (D) below):

(3) All rentals will pay a $100 security deposit and will be responsible for any damage to the park or any cleaning required in the pavilions.
(4) It must be stressed that the rate in the park pavilions is a reservation rate. If the pavilions are not reserved, they are available, at no cost, on a first come, first served basis.
(D) On all major holidays, any rental rate is increased by $50.
