§ 36.07 IN CASE OF TIE VOTE.
   The person having the highest number of votes for any office shall be declared elected. In case of a tie vote in the election of any village officer, it shall be determined by lot in the presence of the President and Board of Trustees, in any manner as they may elect, which candidate or candidates shall hold the office.
