§ 98.24 ACCEPTANCE OF GIFTS, GRANTS, AND THE LIKE FOR LIBRARY PURPOSES.
   The Town Manager may accept any gift, grant, devise, or bequest made or offered by any person for library purposes and may carry out the conditions of the donations. The Town, in all of those cases, is authorized to acquire a site, levy a tax in accordance within the limitations contained in G.S. §§ 153A-261 et seq., and pledge itself by ordinance or resolution to a perpetual compliance with all the terms and conditions of the gift, grant, devise, or bequest so accepted.
