There is adopted by the Town Council for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or dangerous conditions that are hazardous to life, property or public welfare, that certain code known as the North Carolina Fire Code approved by the North Carolina State Building Code Council, being the current edition and updated amendments, and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein. The provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the Town and the Town’s extraterritorial jurisdiction.
