§ 32.47 RESPONSIBILITIES.

The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners shall appoint all officers and members of the Fire and Police Departments of the municipality, except that the Chief of Police and the Chief of the Fire Department (in the event this village ever in the future itself furnishes fire protection) shall be appointed by the Board of Trustees of this village, pursuant to ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, § 10-2.1-4.
