Pursuant to ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, § 10-2.1-1, there is hereby created a Board of Fire and Police Commissioners. Said Board, pursuant to state statute, shall consist of three members, whose term of office shall be three years and until their respective successors are appointed and have qualified, except that the first appointments shall be made in accordance with ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, § 10-2.1-2.
