(A) Pursuant to ILCS Ch. 20, Act 3305, § 10(e), there is hereby created the Village of South Elgin Emergency Management Agency which shall be responsible for emergency management within this municipality's corporate limits and as set forth by statute.
(B) Pursuant to ILCS Ch. 20, Act 3305, § 10(i), a person shall be appointed by the principal executive officer of this village, the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the remainder of the corporate authorities of this village, as Coordinator of said Agency and pursuant to said statute, said Coordinator shall have direct responsibility for the organization, administration, training, and operation of the Emergency Services and Disaster Agency, subject to the direction and control of said principal executive officer, the Mayor of this village, and said Coordinator shall have such other duties as may be authorized by said statute or directed by the corporate authorities of this village, said Coordinator to serve at the pleasure of said corporate authorities and until his successor might be appointed.
(C) Pursuant to ILCS Ch. 20, Act 20, § 3305, and before entering upon his duties, said Coordinator shall take an oath in writing as set forth in the statute.
