The Director of Parks and Recreation shall be appointed by the Village President by and with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees, to serve a term of one year, unless otherwise extended by contract, but in no event longer than the term of the current Village President. Removal from office shall be in like manner in accordance with applicable state law and contractual provisions. The Director of Parks and Recreation may hold another non-conflicting municipal office, either elected or appointed.
