Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction be fined not less than $25 nor more than $750 for each offense. Each day of violation of this chapter exists or is permitted to exist shall be considered a separate offense. Nothing herein shall be construed to prevent the Village of South Elgin from taking such other lawful action as is necessary or appropriate to prevent or remedy any violation of this chapter.
