The base fee shall be computed on the basis of the number of square feet of gross floor area (outside dimensions) of all floors including attached garage in accordance with the following schedule.
(A) Detached and attached single-family and multi-family residences: $1 per square foot of gross floor area (includes fees for electric and HVAC inspections).
(1) Unfinished basements shall be computed based on $.50 per square foot of gross floor area.
(2) Attached garage shall be computed based on $.50 per square foot of gross floor area.
(B) All other uses, including but not limited to storage, mercantile, industrial and business buildings, and the like: $0.20 per square foot of gross floor area (includes fees for electrical and HVAC inspections).
