During the temporary absence or disability of the Village President, the Board of Trustees shall elect one of its members to act as President Pro Tem, who during the absence or disability of the President shall perform the duties pertaining to the office. The President Pro Tem, during the absence or disability of the Village President, shall perform the duties and possess all the rights and powers of the Village President but shall not be entitled to vote both as President Pro Tem and as Trustee.
