§ 31.020 ELECTION; TERM OF OFFICE; TITLE.
   (A)   Election; term of office. The Village President shall be elected for a term of four years and shall be President of the Board of Trustees, as is provided by statute.
   (B)   Title.
      (1)   The term VILLAGE PRESIDENT, as used in any ordinance, resolution, motion or other action of the corporate authorities, shall be construed as meaning the Mayor; and the term MAYOR wherever so used shall be construed to mean the Village President.
      (2)   The title MAYOR, as used in the minutes of the meetings of the corporate authorities or any other official document, shall be construed as meaning “Village President.”
