(A) Bond. Before entering upon the duties of office, the Director of Administrative Services shall furnish a surety bond in the amount to be approved by the President and Board of Trustees, the bond to be conditioned on the faithful performance of the duties of the Director of Administrative Services. The premium for the bond shall be paid by the village. The bond shall be filed with the Village Clerk.
(B) Oath. Before entering upon the duties of office, the Director of Administrative Services shall take and subscribe the oath required by the Illinois Constitution. The subscribed oath shall be filed in the office of the Village Clerk.
(C) Compensation. The Director of Administrative Services shall receive compensation in such amount and manner as the President and Board of Trustees shall fix from time to time by contract or ordinance.
