In order to implement the provisions of the Smoke Free Illinois Act, in order to protect the public health and welfare and better ensure the ability of residents to breathe safe and uncontaminated air by prohibiting smoking in public places and places of employment, smoking in public places is hereby regulated as follows in this subchapter.
