§ 116.04 CONSENT OF FIRE CHIEF REQUIRED.
   (A)   In addition to the fee, application, information, and certificate required herein, the applicant shall also obtain the written approval of the Chief (or his or her designee) of the South Elgin and Countryside Fire Protection District stating that the display site has been inspected and that the display can be performed in full compliance with the NFPA standards adopted and amended by the OSFM Rules, Part 235, for the type of pyrotechnic display to be performed.

A separate signature shall be obtained by applicant for each separate performance.
   (C)   The applicant shall display the permit in accordance with the State Acts.
   (D)   Nothing set forth herein shall, however, prevent the Fire Chief, or his or her designee, from canceling a performance where the interests of public safety so dictate and the decision of the Fire Chief shall be final.
