The Board of Trustees, consisting of six members, shall be elected to office for a four year term, according to the method provided by statute. The Board shall be the legislative body of the village government and shall perform such duties as may be required by statute or ordinance. The Village Board, the Village President, and the Village Clerk shall all be installed in their office at the first regular meeting in May following receipt of certified election results from the local election authority.
