§ 132.09 DRUG POSSESSION.
   (A)   Possession of cannabis. It is unlawful for any person to possess ten grams or less of any substance containing cannabis, except as authorized under the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program Act, ILCS Ch. 410, Act 130, or other law.
   (B)   Possession of drug paraphernalia. It shall be unlawful to knowingly possess any item of drug paraphernalia, except as authorized under the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program Act or other law.
   (C)   The term CANNABIS has the meaning ascribed to it in the Cannabis Control Act, ILCS Ch. 720, Act 550, § 3. CANNABIS includes marijuana, hashish and other substances which are identified as including any parts of the plant Cannabis Sativa, whether growing or not; the seeds thereof; the resin extracted from any part of such plant; and any compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, preparation of such plant, its seeds, or resin, includingtetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and all other cannabinol derivatives, including its naturally occurring or synthetically produced ingredients, whether produced directly or indirectly by extraction, or independently by means of chemical synthesis or by a combination of extraction and chemical synthesis; but shall not include the mature stalks of such plant, fiber produced from such stalks, oil or cake made from the seed of such plant, any other compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of such mature stalks (except the resin extracted there from), fiber, oil or cake, or the sterilized seed of such plant which is incapable of germination.
   (D)   The term DRUG PARAPHERNALIA has the meaning ascribed to it in the Drug Paraphernalia Control Act, ILCS Ch. 720, Act 600, §2. DRUG PARAPHERNALIA objects intended to be used unlawfully in ingesting, inhaling, or otherwise introducing cannabis, cocaine, hashish, hashish oil, or a synthetic drug product or misbranded drug in violation of the Illinois Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act into the human body including, where applicable, the following items: water pipes, carburetion tubes and devices, smoking and carburetion masks, miniature cocaine spoons and cocaine vials, carburetor pipes, electric pipes, air-driven pipes, chillum, bongs, ice pipes or chillers, one-hitter pipes, and bongs.
   (E)   Any person who violates any provision of this section is subject to a fine of $200 for each offense.
