(A) The established Police Department for the town is hereby codified. The Police Department shall consist of a Police Chief and such other officers and employees as may be hired by the Police Chief within the budget provided by the Council.
(B) The Police Chief shall be appointed by the Town Council. The Police Chief shall be the head of the department and shall have supervision over all officers and employees of such department. The Police Chief will be responsible for the hiring and termination of all officers and employees of such department.
