The Town Council shall appoint to the Municipal Court a person to serve as Clerk of Court. Duties shall be to keep records and reports as determined by the South Carolina court administration. All fines and penalties imposed and collected by the Court shall be turned over to the Clerk of Court. The Clerk of Court shall pay the Town Treasurer all monies received by the Clerk to be receipted, verified in writing, and witnessed by both parties.
