(A) The political subdivision, accordingly, by the adoption of this subchapter, in full and ample manner by its lawfully constituted charter does hereby authorize the South Congaree Town Council to make and enter into agreement with the State of South Carolina, by and through its designated Agent, Director of the South Carolina Retirement System, or his or her authorized representative, in full accord with this subchapter and the Social Security Act, as amended, and so afford its benefits to the officers and employees of this political subdivision in the manner by the law provided.
(B) A copy of this subchapter fully executed as in original, duly attested the Town Clerk with the seal of the political subdivision attached, be furnished to the Director, South Carolina Retirement System, to be attached to the contract.
