§ 35.02 DEFINITIONS.

   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.

   CHIEF OF POLICE. The peace officer in charge of the police force of the municipality.

   CLERK-TREASURER. The Clerk-Treasurer of the municipality, including any deputy or member of the office staff of the Clerk-Treasurer while performing duties of the Clerk-Treasurer’s office.

   COURT. The Municipal Court of the Town of South Coffeyville.

   GOVERNING BODY. The town’s Board of Trustees.

   JUDGE. The Judge of the Municipal Court, including any action Judge or alternate Judge thereof as provided for by the statutes of the state and this chapter.

   JUDICIAL DISTRICT. The District Court Judicial District of the state wherein the government of the municipality is situated.

   MUNICIPALITY. The Town of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma.
