§ 31.11 OFFICERS TO CONTINUE UNTIL SUCCESSORS ARE ELECTED AND QUALIFY.
   Every officer who is elected or appointed for a definite term, shall continue to serve thereafter until his, her, or their successor is elected or appointed and qualifies, unless his, her, or their services are sooner terminated by resignation, disqualification, removal, death, abolition of the office, or other legal manner.
