8-7-11: BACKFLOW PREVENTION:

The water supply connection between the potable water system and the lawn sprinkling system shall contain a shutoff valve and backflow prevention device immediately downstream from the shutoff valve. The backflow prevention device shall be installed, tested and maintained to ensure proper operation at all times. (Ord. 99-572, 5-13-1999)
