If a residential building is constructed with a fire sprinkler system, the village shall rebate to the building permit applicant an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the building permit fee(s) collected by the village pursuant to this chapter. To be eligible for such rebate, the fire sprinkler system must comply with the requirements of this chapter. The fire sprinkler system must comply with the specifications set forth in the BOCA national fire prevention code, as amended from time to time. Prior to construction, the fire sprinkler system design and plans must be reviewed and approved by the village. No rebate shall be made prior to completion, inspection, testing and approval of the fire sprinkler system by the village. (Ord. 0-99-561, 4-8-1999)
