Auxiliary police officers before entering upon their duties, shall receive a course of training in traffic direction and other police procedures appropriate for the exercise of the powers conferred upon them under this chapter. The training and course of study shall be determined and provided by the village of South Barrington. Auxiliary police officers will from time to time be required to attend additional training, as directed by the chief of police. (Ord. 2006-757, 2-6-2006)
