The purpose of this chapter is to free the sworn officers from the village of South Barrington to perform regular patrol duties during events occurring within the village of South Barrington and thus allowing the police to continue their normal and traditional patrol duties; while utilizing auxiliary police officers to control vehicular and pedestrian traffic in and around those areas where the events are occurring.
