5-1-9-4: DISCIPLINE OF PART TIME POLICE OFFICERS:

The provisions of section 10-2.1-17 of the Act shall not apply to part time police officers. Part time police officers shall be subject to discipline, including suspension or discharge, in the discretion of the Chief of Police, and such disciplinary actions shall not be subject to review by the Board of Police Commissioners.
