A. It is unlawful to make any connection with the building sewer and wastewater sewer system without first having obtained a permit from the village.
B. Applications for connection permits shall be made on the building application forms provided by the village. Prior to final approval of the connection, the applicant must submit four (4) original signed copies of the MWRD permit application with all appropriate schedules. The village will sign the permits and then return the permits to the applicant to mail to the MWRD for its review and for approval.
C. No permit for a building sewer and connection to the wastewater sewer system shall be issued by the village unless it is determined that the applicant has complied with all applicable ordinances of the village.
D. No person shall uncover, make any connections with or opening into, use, alter, or disturb any part of the wastewater sewer system or appurtenance thereof without first obtaining a written permit from the village and paying all applicable fees to the village.
E. The permit application fee is established by resolution of the village board.
F. No connection to the village owned and/or maintained sewer will be permitted unless the village approves the connection. The village of South Barrington may approve or deny the connection in its sole discretion. (Ord. 0-2015-1072, 5-21-2015)
