No substance which is considered landfill under the rules and regulations promulgated by the Environmental Protection Agency of the State of Illinois shall be used for any filling of land within the Village except within an area duly licensed and permitted to be a sanitary landfill. 1
It shall be unlawful for any person to transport or use fill for land in the Village without the approval required herein.
Any violation of this Section upon conviction thereof shall result in a five hundred dollar ($500.00) fine for each offense, and a separate offense shall be deemed committed for each attempt to unlawfully transport or use fill. (Ord. 0-84-205, 9-13-84)
