11-3-13: MONUMENTS:
   A.   Reference Monuments: Permanent reference monuments shall be placed in such locations as are designated by the village engineer. Such permanent reference monuments shall be stone or reinforced concrete at least thirty six inches (36") in length and six inches (6") square with suitable center point and shall be set flush with the ground and planted in such a manner that they will not be moved by frost.
   B.   Metal Monuments: Metal monuments, three-fourths inch (3/4") in diameter and twenty four inches (24") in length of galvanized or wrought iron, shall be placed in the ground at all lot corners, intersections of streets, intersections of streets and alleys with plat boundary lines. All monuments shall be properly set in the ground before the streets and alleys are accepted for public maintenance.
   C.   Street Name Signs: Street name signs of a type approved by the village board shall be provided at the developer's cost at all street intersections. (Ord. 0-77-57A, 2-9-1977)
