11-3-1: BLOCK DESIGN:
   A.   Length Of Block: The lengths of a residential block may vary within reasonable limitations. The recommended length, where conditions permit, is one thousand feet (1,000'). Approval of blocks in excess of one thousand six hundred feet (1,600') will be granted only where it is shown that such plan is the only feasible way of subdividing the property.
   B.   Width Of Block: A normal block shall be designed with sufficient depth to provide two (2) tiers of lots of appropriate depth. Exceptions to the normal block shall be permitted in blocks adjacent to heavy traffic ways, railroads or streams. (Ord. 0-77-57A, 2-9-1977)
