351.17 REMOVAL OF VEHICLES FROM VILLAGE STREETS DURING AN EMERGENCY.
     Whenever in the opinion of the Mayor there is an actual or threatened emergency such as fire, flood, riot, excess snow accumulation, other acts of God, common disaster or acts of an enemy, the Mayor may require removal of vehicles parked upon affected streets within the Village. The Mayor shall inform the public of the emergency through reasonable methods of communication. Actual notification to actual owner or operator is not required. If the owner or operator fails to remove the vehicle within a reasonable time, the vehicle may be removed under the direction of the Village Police Department.
