351.14 FIRE LANES.
   (a)   No person shall stand, park or leave unattended a vehicle in any private driveway, alleyway or areaway between buildings, when, in opinion of the Village Fire Chief, such parking constitutes a fire hazard or an obstruction to or interference with operation of fire equipment.
   (b)   The Village Fire Chief shall lay out such prohibited parking areas and mark them as fire lanes with signs erected and also painted on the pavement.
   (c)   Whenever any police officer finds a vehicle standing, parked or left unattended in violation of this section, such officer is authorized to move such vehicle or provide for the removal of such vehicle either out of such fire lane or to any Village owned property, to a private garage, or other place of safety. The owner of the vehicle shall be responsible for all towing and storage charges.

   (d)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
