§ 50.02  BULK WATER RATES.
   (A)   Bulk water sales shall be any unmetered delivery of water to contractors or other users through hose attachments to fire hydrants or other city apparatus.
   (B)   Each bulk water purchaser shall pay minimum $20 per day and $11 per thousand gallons.
   (C)   The bulk water user shall be responsible for any damages to city fire hydrants or apparatus which result from the user’s use and operation of those facilities. The user shall also be required to see those city fire hydrants or apparatus are secured such that no loss of water results during use or periods of non-use. Failure to comply with this section will result in charges for repair expenses being levied against the user and/or suspension of further delivery of water to the user.
   (D)   In the event of a water supply emergency, the city may refuse to sell water to bulk users and may suspend delivery to any bulk users for the duration of the emergency.
   (E)   This section shall be in full force and effect after its passage and approval by the City Council and published in a newspaper.
