(A) The permit fee to operate a towing company under the terms and conditions of this chapter shall be payable as follows: at the time of the original or renewal application for a towing company permit, the applicant shall pay a fee of $100 as a non-refundable application fee. If the application is approved by the Chief of Police, the applicant will be issued a permit to operate a towing company in the city for one year.
(B) A permit issued pursuant to this section shall be valid for one year from the date issued, and renewed or an annual basis, along with proof of any and all insurance required by state.
