(A) Determine cemetery: Aldrich, Jerome, Somerset, or Somerset Center.
(B) Check map to get a general location preference.
(C) Check record book/index cards to make sure what lots are available.
(1) Lots are 20 by eight and most lots have six burial spaces.
(2) Check current rates.
(3) Lot spaces are designated from south to north.
(4) If lot sold because of recent death, call Sexton and the funeral home involved to give them the cemetery and lot number and burial space, if known.
(5) Information to be obtained:
(a) Funeral home, time, date;
(b) Whose name deed is to be in; and
(c) Put on receipt: name, address, telephone, lot number, amount paid, date of purchase, which cemetery.
(6) If going to cemetery site, take map and receipt book.
(D) (1) Record information needed about sale of lot in appropriate space of cemetery list.
(2) Record appropriate information in back of book regarding deeds.
