Any person, partnership, firm, or corporation initiating an illegal burn which requires or necessitates the use of fire fighting personnel and/or equipment of the township’s Fire Department and Rescue shall be charged a fee. The fee shall be in such amount as may be from time to time established by resolution of the Township Board. The fee referred herein shall be in addition to fines, court costs, and other monetary penalties imposed by a court of competent jurisdiction in a criminal proceeding brought pursuant to this chapter. The township is hereby authorized to prepare and transmit bills for the within described fees.
