Bonfires, campfires, and fires used for outdoor cooking are allowed without a permit. The township’s Fire Chief or his or her authorized representative may prohibit any and all bonfires or campfires when atmospheric conditions or circumstances make such fires hazardous or when, in the opinion of said Chief or his or her representative, a bonfire or campfire would constitute a fire hazard or would endanger persons and/or property.
