(A) The Uniform Traffic Code for Cities, Townships, and Villages promulgated by the Commissioners of State Police on February 14, 1959 and published in Supplement No. 13, and as amended and published from time to time, in accordance with Public Act 62 of 1956, being M.C.L.A. §§ 257.951 through 257.955, is hereby adopted by reference as in this chapter modified.
(B) References in the Uniform Traffic Code for Cities, Townships, and Villages to GOVERNMENTAL UNIT shall mean the Township of Somerset.
(C) The Uniform Traffic Code will be in effect in this governmental unit as of December 1, 1978.
