§ 240.07 POLICE CONFIDENTIAL INVESTIGATION FUND.
   There is hereby created a fund, to be designated as the Police Confidential Investigation Fund, in the amount of $3,000 for the use of the Police Department to be appropriated in and included as a part of the annual appropriation for the General Fund to the Police Department. In addition to investigation expenses, the Police Chief, with the approval of the Mayor, may pay rewards up to $500 each from such Fund to persons furnishing information which leads to the arrest and conviction of persons violating any misdemeanor set forth in Chapter 624 of the General Offenses Code or any statute set forth in R.C. Chapter 3719.
