(a) No motor transportation company or private motor carrier shall operate any motor vehicle on the roads, streets or highways in the city without having displayed on both sides thereof, in such places as to be easily seen by anyone wishing to identify the vehicle, the following in letters and figures not less than two inches in height and three-eighths of an inch in width:
(1) The company number of the vehicle; and
(2) The company name, location and state.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
