§ 414.10 USE OF MAST ARM SIGNAL SUPPORTS.
   (a)   Council hereby finds and determines that the use of mast arm signal supports is a safer and more efficient method of placing traffic signals, that mast arm signals are more easily repaired than cable hung signals, and that mast arm hung signals are more aesthetically pleasing than cable hung signals.
   (b)   Effective as of the passage of this section, it is the policy of this city to install only mast arm signal supports on all state and county roads whenever traffic signal installation can be properly implemented and/or whenever the proposes installation would be aesthetically nonconforming if installed by another method.
