There is hereby established the position of Director of Information Technology. The Director of Information Technology shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to the confirmation by the majority of the members of Council, pursuant to Article V, § 5, of the City Charter. The Director of Information Technology shall report directly to the Mayor and shall perform such duties as may be delegated to him or her, by the Mayor pursuant to the position’s job description on file in the Human Resource Department.
