The charge for cemetery lots shall be $774 for each grave for residents of the city or former residents of the city who are property owners. Commencing in 2014 and each year thereafter, the Cemetery Sexton, in consultation with the Director of Finance, shall adjust the charge for cemetery lots so as to reflect the change in the United States Department of Labor’s Consumer Price Index, for All Urban Consumers, for prior calendar year. When purchasing graves, payments must be made in full. No payment plan shall be allowed unless approved by the Safety and Public Properties Committee. There will be no holding of graves for any length of time. The maximum purchase shall be of two lots or ten graves.
